Dinosaur Week: Day 2

Day 2 for summer school’s dinosaur adventure and another day to learn about the life of a dinosaur!!

I wonder what kind of craft they’re going to make today??
Let’s take a look…

So much green paper! What part of the dinosaur will they learn about today?  They taped together a small green band and are cutting up green pieces into shapes.

Even our youngest student looks so concentrated in wanting to do a good job cutting.

Now they are taking those individual shapes and glueing them onto a single strip of paper. Can anyone guess what this will turn into?

Wow!! Look at those spikes!!

It’s looking scarier and scarier! With persevering, yet tedious work each student glued the pointed ends of each shape to make triangular 3-D spikes!!

Then finally, this became the final product!

 

Their very own dinosaur head bands!! It even comes with their own spikes.
Wow!! Everyone makes for such adorable dinosaurs!
