Camp Koa 2022
Camp Koa is our annual winter program for those who are ready to go overseas to use the English they have learned! Camp Koa was established in 2016 and in the 3 short years it has been running, it has already shown great development in character of those who have joined us!
Taking the Hawaiian word: Koa, meaning brave, fearless, a warrior, we felt this best expressed the characteristics we see in the students we bring with us on this incredible journey.
This is a wonderful opportunity for children to become independent and exercise their knowledge and vocabulary. Not only will they have to speak English 24/7, but will experience talking to other native English speakers.

SPECIAL COURSE
Those who have applied for both Course A and Course B are eligible for the Special Course! This course will be held December 17 ~ 23, 2022 on a different Hawaiian island! For more information please inquire when applying for Courses A and B.

Camp Tuition includes:

- All meals (breakfasts, lunches, dinners, and snacks)
- 210+ hours of supervised activities for the 14-day program, 100+ hours for the 7-day program.
- Course materials, student manual and supplies
- T-shirt
- Out of state applicants: Your tuition also includes airport transfers, housing and supervision one day prior to after camp to accommodate flight schedules
- Expenses incurred during ones stay
- Transportation
Tuition Fee ¥ 320,000 (7days) ~ *tax is to be added
- Airline tickets are not included
- Campers applying for 14 days of Course A will be made a priority over those applying for 10 days when filling positions
As this is an overseas program and we understand you would like updates on your child, we'll be doing our very best to post photos on our Instagram (@americankids.school) so you can see your teen's smiling face and get a sense of what they're experiencing while they are at camp! We also provide one phone call everyday for you to say goodnight, or just talk to your teen.
