International Pre-Kindergarten
This course is geared towards children who are planning to transfer to our Kindergarten course. To prepare for our American Kids Kindergarten course, children spend 5 hours a day at school naturally acquiring the English level required to advance. Lessons are taught by native English-speaking teachers and the course curriculum runs very similar to our Kindergarten course. Using art, music, and games, children naturally acquire English basics, while at the same time, improving their concentration ability and endurance.
We help our students learn how to evaluate themselves and gain self-confidence by spending time in fun group lessons.
From time-to-time, we encourage joint Pre-Kindergarten and Kindergarten activities to ensure a smooth transition for each child. Our Pre-Kindergarten and Kindergarten courses not only offer growth in English skills, but also judgement, general understanding, and other abilities which we believe will benefit them.
Teachers
Lessons are taught by American, native English-speaking teachers. Teachers only speak English when talking to their students. Children, as well, must only use English to communicate and express their thoughts (this includes conversations amongst their friends during lessons). We, at American Kids, strongly believe doing this plays a major role in getting children to naturally acquire exceptional English communication skills.

Throughout the year, we incorporate special parties and events such as Christmas and Halloween parties into our regular lessons. These are memorable events that all the children look forward to all year. These events let children experience each season through the eyes of an American and real-life situations. It’s also a great chance for them to apply the things they’ve learned in their everyday lessons to interact with one another.
Computer
We also offer computer lessons where they can implement their English abilities to use the computers. Children of ages 2 or 3 play educational games or interact with stories, learning colors and shapes, phonics and basic computer usage. From the age of 4, students start using the internet to look up information.
*While we highly recommend 5 days enrollment, students may enroll 2 days, 3 days, or 5 days per week. If a child enrolls for 2 or 3 days, they can later increase the number of days they are enrolled if there is space in the class.
*Usually students enrolled for 2 days per week come on Tuesdays and Thursdays; students enrolled for 3 days per week come on Monday, Wednesday, and Fridays. As parents may wish to choose differently, parents may choose which days their child will attend upon enrollment. Once these days are chosen, they may not be changed for a year.

Registration Fee: 110,000yen (55,000yen for currently enrolled preschool students)
